Anthony Smith, a former professional basketball player who retired in 2020, has transitioned into a career dedicated to training basketball athletes at all skill levels. Drawing on his extensive experience and knowledge from years on the court, Smith now focuses on developing players' skills, basketball understanding, and athleticism. His training programs are tailored to meet the individual needs of each athlete. Whether they are beginners or advanced players that are aiming to elevate their game and foster a deep love for basketball. Smith's passion for the sport and his commitment to nurturing talent have made him a respected figure in the basketball training community.

Meet Our Coach
Anthony Smith, head trainer at Legacy Training Academy, grew up in Plano, TX. In the competitive environment of Dallas-Ft. Worth, he earned a NCAA Division 1 scholarship to Liberty University. He finished his career there in 2009 as the 2nd leading scorer at the division 1 level in school history. After that, he played in the 2009 NBA Summer League with the Indiana Pacers. While making it to the NBA was not in his future, Anthony had a really good career overseas that spanned for 10 years. Playing in the countries of Spain, Poland, France, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Argentina.
